Once again we are struggling with the van. Matt had started going every second day to John's office for LILT treatment, the low intensity light therapy. Yesterday, the van barely made it to the clinic and that was it. Thankfully Matt was able to take a cab home after his therapy and we got the van towed to a garage. The prognosis is poor but we are hoping they will be able to get it back on its wheels again. So for now, Matt is taking a taxi when he needs to go into town.
The weather has been great, with this being the first Halloween in history when you could actually see what the kids were wearing (no heavy jackets).
Good news for the family, Jamie Relitz had a baby boy. Congratulations to mommy and daddy and new Grandpa and Grandma!
Matt continues to work hard with therapy, with sessions of 2 hours in the am and 2 hours in the pm. He seems to be getting stronger again, so lets hope he keeps improving. Matt has occupational therapy starting in the hospital Monday at 9:30. He is already dreading waking up so early.
We are still in the midst of major renovations and hoping to have it all finished by the middle of November.
Please pray for us as a family. The transition has been a bit difficult and we are still working out some kinks, but it will take time to find everyone's "fit'.
Happy Halloween to all!
