Happy Mother's Day

Wishing everyone a fantastic Mother's Day. Jonmarie, Shaunie and I took mom out to Moxie's for supper. Jonmarie and Shaunie have been quite sick so have been on antibiotics. I think it affects them emotionally because it was a difficult supper! It was like having 2 two year olds! Anyway, mom and I enjoyed the combo platter and completely ruined her diet. Matt has been also suffering from the flu and didn't feel like coming so he stayed at home.
Yesterday was Bobby's birthday party and we went to laser tag. The kids loved it. We went back to Jacki and Gary's and they live in such a great cul-de-sac, that Jonmarie hated having to leave. All the kids from the street were out playing street hockey or riding their bikes. Bobby had received a styrofoam plane for a present and the kids got their markers together and drew pictures all over it. Shaunie was ready to go home and be with her daddy. While we were at the party mom went to a fellow collegues wedding and didn't come home until quite late. But she had a good time.
Matt had an infection in his right great toe, and it was so sore he was unable to put his shoe on, but John started him on some meds which really helped. I just wish he felt better. Matt didn't even want bacon for lunch and that is not like him at all. You know you are sick when you can't eat bacon!
Thanking God for mother's everywhere and all life's lessons they teach us. Also to our kids that make it worthwhile!
