Chicken and fries
Matt is still having trouble with the vomiting, not sure what is the problem. He was able to get up today for a good 3 hours, which helps get everything working better. He had lots of company today and was happy to see everyone. He enjoys reading the blog comments. The staff also help brighten his day and keep him smiling. Not to much change, he was able to eat a few fries and a chicken strip, but that all came up along with his orange frappa. Prayers for today that Matt will be able to keep down food, gain some weight and get his own ventilator. Psalms 42:5 Tells us to "Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him"

well Matt - I just looked out the door-it's 1:15 am and my picnic table is white with frost so enjoy that cozy bed - Bryce says we are coming to see you today if things go as planned! Everyone comments about your big smile and good attitude Matt - that is remarkable and brings to mind that verse in Proverbs 17:22-A merry heart doeth good like a medicine! love Yvonne
Hi Matt and Family
Sorry I haven't wrote in a while. I myself have been doing a lot of vomitting. It's not much fun is it Matt? I am on some heavy medication and an inner ear problem. But enough about my problems. I am sooo glad to hear that you have been eating real food. That is great. If you want some weight Matt I will be very greatful to give you majority of mine! lol You could use it more than me.
Anyway keep up the awsome job. Baby steps are always the best.
You keep doing your finger push ups and I will keep doing plain old pushups!!
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

Hi Matt& family,
Praying your stomach will settle down, maybe go with the old fashioned chicken noodle soap, it always seemed a good thing to start off with after either fasting or a bug.. Just a thought.
We got word an hour ago that my mother had passed away in Alberta. We will be going out. The Memorial date not set yet.
Glad you keep your positive attitude Matt, so thankful for all the love around you as well as flowing through prayers and positive well wishes from people that know what a sweetheart you are. God Bless, Love Aunty Carol & Uncle Wince
Hey Matty hang in there buddy. Nolan and I are sooooooo excited to come and see you next week! We miss you guys soooo much! You have to watch the riders game tomorrow if you can and look for us looney toons wearing green wigs and watermelon helmuts!
Thinking and praying for you always

Good Morning Matthew.
We had a great afternoon with you yesterday. Sorry you couldn't keep down the fries and VANILLA milkshake. I will bring those flax cookies for you next time I come.
You looked very good Matthew and it was good to see your mom again.
Talk to you soon.
Love Aunty Sandy
Matt, I don't know you or your family, but I am a regular reader. I pray for you often and am really proud of you. You are brave and strong and you amaze me.
May God not just be near, but may he *feel* near to you. We're watching your miracle every day.

Hi Matt
Was so good to see you yesterday. Especially seeing you move those fingers! You are looking so great...lots better from when I saw you in July! I can see why the Nurses always want to be yours for the day!!! Hopefully you have a better day of keeping your food down...no fun being sick.
Love you, Shauna

Say hi to all for us - and we will be there in a couple of weeks - hang in there Bud.. Love you and will continue to pray for you. Love Aunty Brenda
