Just wanted to give a quick update. I was unable to speak with Matt last night because he had company and couldn't tell me about the days events.
Saturday dad returned to Saskatoon to be with Matt. The weekend was uneventful and didn't have to much to report.
Monday Matt was able to go into the pool. He was able to go onto his knees and then move himself back and forth while on his knees. Not just swaying back and forth, actually moving his right knee outwards, then bringing his left knee to where the right knee had been. So much easier under the water. Also did some leg swinging exercises under the water when he was standing.
Had some group occupational therapy and worked on strengthening his right hand with putty and doing arm exercises. Was up in his manual chair for the exercises but still having trouble with his shoulder and neck being so sore. But he said it is more tolerable now and can do some of his exercises so praises that it is improving.
Getting ready for the big trek to Red Deer on Friday. Mom is done work on Thursday and will be in Saskatoon Thursday evening. So hopefully get an early start to get here early. Need dad to cut the grass!!
Just wanted to wish Nolan a Happy Birthday yesterday and also a happy birthday to cousin Shauna, who is ??? I will not reveal her true age because then she would reveal mine!
Thanks to all the faithful readers, even though it is difficult during this busy time of year to keep up with the updates. Will hopefully give an update on the week by Thursday evening.

Hello and happy B DAY to all of you. Whats the magic # Shelly must be 40 by now or close. Havent talked to Chad yet Matt but will get it done. Have a good trip. Party hard and have a good time.Bryon,Brenda &Fam.

Sounds like you're still working hard. I actually hit the pool the other morning at 6 a.m. for aquasize. Always enjoy it, but since we've been on the farm most of the summer, I haven't been able to go like I did every week day last year.
Well, hang in there. Keep up the good work. I'm off to pick up Larissa from camp tomorrow morning. She's working with 6 - 8 year olds this week. Last week, she had to break up a fight between two boys and managed to pull her shoulder out of the socket. Was in a lot of pain so I guess as well. Don't know how she managed with a bum arm this week.
She's been asked to counsel at Green Water Lake Bible Camp as well. They have a week of teens and not enough counselors. She's counseled there before as well. I guess her summer will be basically over before it's harvest time. So much for the summer I guess.

thanks shelley for keeping up with what u can. tried skypeing u last nite matt but no answer.my puter is down at the office and i dont stay here any longer than i have to. sun is finally starting to shine so i hope we have a nice day. sask summer games are right away and our campground is so full.
here it is aug already. if this month goes as fast as the last one we will be home before i know it.
