Matthew phoned me last night upset about the no visitor rule for a few days due to a viral outbreak. So dad cannot go a visit and neither can anyone else. That is the first time since Matt was injured that someone hasn't been with him so prayers that the "quarantine" ends quickly and visitors are once again allowed. The worst part is no rehab in the therapy department because Matt cannot leave the floor he is on. So no trips outside and only therapy in his room.
Matt has been on the go since last Friday, when he travelled to Weekes for cousin Michelle's wedding. Loved sitting around the campfire and visiting with the family, stayed out until 1:30 am. For the wedding on Saturday they had a slow start and didn't even have Matt up when I phoned at 1pm. The wedding started at 2pm? in Weekes but I believe they made it on time.
Sunday visited again with family and didn't return to Saskatoon until 7 pm. Matt didn't get settled until 1230 am and was too worked up from all the happenings that he didn't feel tired and stayed up even later.
Monday Matt was once again in the pool. I think that is his favorite rehab. He was able to extend his legs in the pool like he was kicking to swim but needed weights to bring his legs back down. Also did a workout at the gym on the arm bike and pulleys.
Today Matt practiced dressing himself. He had gotten a new shirt which he really likes but is a bit smaller than what he is used to so was unalbe to get it over his head. Dad brought Matt some food, but wasn't able to see him. So a quiet day overall.

consider this a test matty. and u have come so far this one should be a cake walk u. although i would feel a little scared myself. its raining here again and the fair in lloyd started today. dayleigh and i went in for the parade and it just keep getting cooler. but as i write it is pouring out and the landscapers are not happy. but the ducks are. so stiff upper lip young man and all will be well. ella

It was good to see you at the wedding on Saturday. Sorry I didn't get back there to talk to you again, there was so many people to talk to. Hope you had a good time.
Hopefully that quaratine is over with soon so you can get some visitors back hey.

Hi Matthew. Hope the quarantine is lifted soon. It must be a long day for you and your dad when you can't be together.
It was so good to see you on the weekend. I am so glad you were able to make it to the wedding and what a beautiful wedding it was.
We had a small downpour today - about 1/4 inch of rain at the farm.
We need about two good inches so maybe tomorrow as the forecast is calling for rain.

Just got home and had to check and see if any news... Sorry to hear your stuck in your room all by yourself.. hepefully it will all be over soon and dad can come and visit.. We had a good trip home- but the older we get the longer it gets. Was great to see everyone and you did great.. Heh Matt!!! I stopped in to see your Dad on Tuesday to give him some papers he needed...told me all about the quartantine etc....Hope you can still get some rehab...work hard and when your Dad gets to see you again, you will be able to show him how much more you can do!!!! I am sure Michelle was very happy that you came to her wedding....I got a really nice photo of you and her at the wedding!!! Everyone looked so beautiful!!! It has been a busy week and still trying to catch up on some sleep from the weekend....it was great to see most of the family again!!!
