A celebrating weekend for the Gustafson clan. Yesterday was dad's birthday and today is Shaunie's 4th birthday so all excited. She doesn't quite understand it is her birthday and trying to work on telling her she is 4 but didn't have much luck with the 3rd one either. High of 30 degrees today so will be melting.
Matt has been busy with his argyl exercises, strengthening his quads, bending his knees, and using his arms and back to help him stand as well. He said everyday he does well but on Friday was doing his exercises and got dizzy after a few reps.
Thursday Matt had his bone density test. They wanted to see if he had lost any bone mass due to lack of weight bearing exercises. However they feel he hasn't lost any so that is good news if he wants to go to project walk. Mom also left on Thursday to go back to work. Of course she is always working, but this job she gets paid for!!

Happy Birthday Everyone. Hope you all had a good celebration. We are going to Shauna & Dale's today to celebrate Jada's 2nd birthday which was yesterday.
Yesterday we had family pictures taken and then went out for supper to celebrate our 40th anniversary which was in June. Great time.
The weather is beautiful and we are certainly enjoying the nice weather, as I am sure everyone is.

We just got back from the lake..had a great time and the weather has been so good...It was good to see you again Matt last Wednesday....before your Mom went back to Weekes...Seems like everytime I go to see you, you are ordering pizza for supper HA!!! It is so great to see you looking healthier all the time...Better run. Talk to you soon. By the way, I forgot to ask you Matt if you did the extra exercises you were suppose to do if Sask lost their game against Calgary last week???

Hi Matt,
Haven't forgot about you - just been busy going to the fairs and Hayfield!~!I rake with the truck as we got hailed in July so the swaths are pretty thin to say the least! Went to Swan River to run barrels and do gymkhana yesterday afternoon-it went quick as there were no wagons etc...did lots of fun events and made my horse pay attention as he had never done the events before-Shand went ok despite the moisture-people with horses stuck it out and we got thru all the events. Have a good week-sounds like your summer has been full too. yy
