A Beautiful day to be outside

It was a beautiful day and Matt went for a tour of the grounds and some of the places on campus. He remembered some of the places from the tour they took in school and enjoyed a chance to see a lot of young people. He was outside for about two hours and then went for a frappa. He was really tired for a while but all in all had a great day. They are going to start the trach trials tomorrow, so that is the big prayer for tonight. They feel he is now strong enough to try again praise the Lord. It will be one of Matt's hardest battles to recovery. Thank you so much for all the company, blog comments, cards and prayers they are a highlight of Matt's day. 1 Thessalonians 5:17,18 Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Good Morning,

Sounds like you had a pretty super day yesterday. Will pray that all goes well with the trach trials today as well as they get you into rehab over at City Hospital.

Monday was rather a drizzly day here, but yesterday it cleared up but the wind was rather chilly. Looks like a clear morning so far, so maybe we'll get some combining done today, but then who knows. I think they were saying a 30% chance of showers once again. We really could use some HOT weather to get the harvest off.

Well, I shall run. It's only 6:15 a.m., but have a ton of stuff to get done before I head to the farm this morning. Have a wonderful day.

Hi Matt! You know, it brightens my day when I hear you've had a good one! It sounds like it's been warmer in Saskatoon than here! But the fall leaves sure are beautiful... just wish we could skip straight from autumn to spring! Ha! Not a very good prairie girl, am I?! Thinking of you always... you're never far from my thoughts. Good luck with the trach trials. Hope to see you again soon! Love you! Hi Auntie Jo!

Love, Shannon xoxo
