Strength and Patience

Matt is still having trouble with vomiting, but in the evening was able to keep down some macaroni and cheese, a glass of coke, and chocolate milk. He 's cough is much stronger and he is easier to suction. He watched some of the Riders game, but because they had given him some gravol he slept through a lot of it. Not to much happening today, just waiting for an opening at City. Prayers for today much the same, also that he will get movement to his left side, plus strength and patience for tomorrow. Psalm 71:14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.

Hi Matt-I thot I'd tell you what a few of my flip calendar sayings were: The road to success has many detours because it is always under construction. - You will find "HIM" to be, just as He promised, "a very present help in time of need." -He is God of the mountains and God in the Valley-He understands and cares. Have a good day!!Bryce and Yvonne

Well, Good Morning Matt & Family,

It's 4 a.m. Hope you're sleeping. Obviously I'm not. Looks like Yvonne was awake at 1 a.m. so she'll hopefully be snoozing by now too. I'm actually wide awake with a cup of hot chocolate in hand. Can't say I love just 'waking' up at this hour. I think it's called aging. I don't sleep like I used to.

Haven't stopped to comment in the past few days, because I've been on the swather, swathing sweet clover. Kind of a tricky crop to swath because it gets pretty tall. Anywheres between 4 and 5 feet in places. That causes a few problems with it wrapping around the canvases or having the belt come off the back of the canvases. And I simply don't have the muscles to move the spring loaded pulley far enough to get the belt back on and so then I have to go and get Reg. Not good for the 'independence' in me! Ha!You should have seen me the other day. Laying on my back on the ground, pushing the thing up with my foot and I still couldn't get the belt on. Really a sight for sore eyes. Don't try and imagine it for long. You just may go into a laughing fit!!!

Now if that nausea could just be solved - that sure would help eh! It is good that you've been able to keep a little down, but I'm sure you'd love to keep all of it down.

We continue to pray for you daily. In fact, while I was swathing, a said a little prayer for you. Must say that you're on my mind a lot.

Well, I guess since I'm up, I may as well make up the bulletin for church this morning. Simply too tired when I got home last night.

Have a super day!
Bev
