Another pothole

Well, not such a great night. Matt had so much trouble with the trach. Tey had put in a talking trach, which is different then a normal trach. It has holes in it and Matt was unable to keep his oxygen levels up, similiar to trying to breath in a plastic bag. They were hoping he would improve but went into a respiratory arrest and they had to manual assist his breathing. So off to surgery again to get the normal trach in and hopefully that will enable him to breathe easier.
One is hard pressed to see light at the end of the tunnel, but God says "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 We realize many will be down when you read this, but keep your spirits up, we love how much you care for Matt.

Wow! What poor Matt has to go through, but how on earth would we do it without the Lord - I just don't know. Will especially pray for Matt today. Must be so difficult when you feel like you can't breathe. That is scary.

Take care.
With many prayers,
Bev

Matt,
Sorry to hear things aren't going so well. Hang in there, you've made it through all of this, we know you can do it. Hope you start to feel better soon.

Matt,
I hope the new trach is better than the last one. You need to keep on fighting through this. You are so strong and you need to remember that. I miss seeing you and cant wait for you to get better. Just keep fighting Matt, everything will turn out fine.

Hey Big Guy! That's enough for one day. This aunt's old heart can't take anymore scares. You take care and work hard to do all that you have to do to get better. We are all praying for you everyday - as well as many other family and friends are doing.
Shauna & I will see you next week.
