Waiting

Sorry for not having a blog for yesterday. We were waiting for the surgery to insert Matt's tracheostomy so he won't have the ventilator tube in his mouth. But still waiting. Mom said Matt's day was alright, he is feeling anxious because he still has no movement, but Luke 1:37 for nothing is impossible with the Lord. Please continue to pray for healing and thank Him for small miracles. Matt's pneumonia seems to have subsided and is breathing easier with the ventilator. I will update again later once he has the trach inserted.

Hi Matt

Glad to hear you had a better day than the past couple. You'll have alot of ups and downs in the coming months but everyone knows you can make it through them all. You have an unbelievable amount of people praying for you and we know that God answers our prayers...just maybe not as soon as we would like, hey?? HA

Hope to see you soon!

Hello strong united and loved Gustafson family.
Matt, this crazy Mexican has actually straighten up a little and has been giving conferences about psychology and stuff like that for the last month, focusing mostly on the power of mind and I think I can help with a couple of things besides my prayers.

I need someone around you to color-print on a big enough piece of paper (50cm2) a smiley face, the most common yellow one :) with white background and your name (Matt) above the picture and place it in front of where you are so you can have it in your sight.

Now Matt, this next activity is for you, and you have to promise me that you will remember this and do it as much as you can…(everyone should do it too, it would help Matt).
Imagine yourself totally recovered spending Thanksgiving or Christmas with everyone you love, picture that as real as you can over and over again (I know it seems easy and stupid but it helps a lot, I’ve seen some unbelievable cases of major recovery).

I will research more alternative mind therapy for you and will let you know.

Misses you all, Isaac Arrayales (the Mexican)
