Trudging along
Matt was able to breath on his own 3 times today, and could have spoonfuls of water and chew some ice. His temp was stable all day, and he was able to go outside again for a few minutes. Matt was quite exhausted from all the excitement yesterday. Had a difficult time resting because he said everytime he closes his eyes, he worries. Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God". Pray that Matt will have a good and restful sleep tonight and continue to heal spiritually and physically.

Oh Matthew, at last some great news !!! Now you are on your way to getting better!!! WE thank God for these GIANT steps forward!!!!It must feel so good to have that tube out of your mouth- we have no idea. I check this page many times a day to see if there is an update because you are always on my mind, and I send up little prayers for your recovery often in the course of a day. God hears us all and He will answer us. Try not to be afraid and keep positive. Do everything you are asked to do to fight onward to a full recovery. We love you all. Auntis Ardis and Uncle Ken.
Just to let you know that we're still praying for you and your entire family. I probably check the blog a few times a day as well. So grateful to see the progress that is being made. Just remember Matt, that God understands your fears. Just give them all to Him for He really does care for you. Hang in there!
